According to the Washington Post, ebooks are outselling hardbacks in one arena. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/07/19/AR2010071904422.html?wpisrc=nl_tech
 
"In the past three months, Amazon has sold 143 Kindle books for every 100 hardcover books, the company said. In July, sales of e-books accelerated to 180 sold for every 100 hardcover versions."
 
Of course, a lot of the Kindle books are free, so that definitely pumps up the sales figures. Paperback books are not included in these figures either. But, have we reached the tipping point? Are ebooks poised to take over hardcovers?
