 J.A. Saare is a multi-published author in varying genres and has written stories featured in horror magazines, zombie romance anthologies, and flash fiction contests. Her work has a notable dark undertone, which she credits to her love of old eighties horror films, tastes in music, and choices in reading, and have been described as "full of sensual promise," "gritty and sexy," and "a breath of fresh air."
She started writing nearly two-years ago, when the idea for a young adult novel came to mind. Upon completion of Crimson Moon, which will release in June at The Wild Rose Press, she dove into her current release at Eternal Press -- Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between -- and quickly followed it up with her upcoming erotic paranormal romance with Loose Id, Eternity and a Day, that will release under her erotic pen name, Aline Hunter.
While she prefers longer novels to novellas, her series at Amira Press, featuring the stories A Kiss Before Dying and Moon Kissed, and novellas Soft As Moonlight and Lick Of Frost, has been well received by both reviewers and readers alike.
Her hope is to continue writing characters people care about and stories that engage the reader and lure them into her worlds.
