The Writer's Chatroom Topic Chat: Writing Tools
Published: Wed, 09/04/13
(Sally Franklin Christie is in charge tonight)
As a hoarder of notebooks, term paper holders, pocket folders and Tupperware I have chosen this topic that rose to the top of my email, just a few minutes ago. http://clarionfoundation.wordpress.com/2013/07/22/writers-craft-126-treasures-on-paper/
I also collect ink pens.
I like to ask our guest authors during chats to describe their favorite writing tools. Computers, laptops, cell phones, window seats, trees, software, music and I have to say, I like my pen and paper.
What an easy thing to talk about for an hour. We can lament that either way, some of us are dysfunctional when it comes to keeping and naming files. Some of us do not like to delete or throw things into the round file. But what do we do with these notebooks, napkin scraps, sticky notes, envelopes and smudged up bathroom mirrors?
Who is keeping drabs and dribs of files on memory sticks, thumb drives?
We also have a discussion board. http://www.writerschatroom.com/forum/ . And if you have an overwhelming urge to keep The Writer's Chatroom free for our twice weekly meetings, go ahead and donate $5.00 or, what the heck, a three month tidbit of $15.00 using our PayPal donation button. http://writerschatroom.com/index.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We look forward to chatting with you!
