Revisions...how do we know when to stop? How do we even start? Revision can become almost unmanageable if you don't have a plan.
I used to have three revision checklists. My book Milk Carton People took up a lot of space on my computer and in my home. I made a scenes list, printed it and cut it into chunks so I could move them around and tack them to a dressmaker's board.
I made a cast of characters to be sure a name didn't change part way through. I researched bus lines in the City I used. There must be an easier way.
...Make your checklist and check it twice. Take a few extra days to go through the manuscript and make sure it sings....
Once your book structure is solid and ready, you can rely on this checklist to tie up any loose ends.
