How do you handle critiques? If you get defensive (and it's so hard not to!) you're hurting yourself. We have another Critique Chat coming in November, so I thought this was a good topic to discuss.
Carolyn Kaufman has some very good advice on Handling Critiques Without Getting Defensive. I won't be pasting this word-for-word in the chatroom, so you probably want to read it ahead of time. If you can't come to chat, it's still valuable reading.
