Do you ever wonder about the stories you see online? Emails your sister forwards to you (and a dozen other people), links that everyone on FaceBook is sharing, wild stories that everybody is Twittering about? Do they sound too "out there" to be true?
Chances are, they are lies. Some of them have been making the rounds for years. A story will die down for a while, then someone who hasn't heard it yet runs across it, and it's suddenly everywhere again. Have you ever shared one of these stories, then been embarrassed to discover that it's a fraud?
Time to stop clogging the internet byways with this claptrap. Techlicious tells you how. http://www.techlicious.com/tip/how-to-sort-fact-from-fiction-online/ . Be the person who is smart enough to spot the garbage and set everyone straight!
Join us tonight to discuss false facts, for the first hour. We'll take any other questions you may have in the second hour. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
