The Writer's Chatroom Topic Chat

(Thanks to Kim Richards for tonight's topic.)
We all know the publishing world is in turmoil. Processes change day-to-day, and struggling authors are racing to keep up. We talk about the changes often, but this was a new one for me.
Do self-publishers need agents?
Scott Nicholson has some thoughts on the subject at http://hauntedcomputer.blogspot.com/2011/07/self-publishing-agents-unnecessary.html . I don't agree with everything he says, but I think he has some good points.
Join us tonight to talk about the changing role of agents, and to discuss what new roles may appear on the horizon, for the first hour. We'll discuss any other questions you may have in the second hour.

Murder, Embezzlement, Betrayal and Silence: If I Should Die is a suspenseful journey into the lives of many people. The choices and impacts are repulsive and inspiring. Silence will never sound the same. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
