Sally Franklin Christie is in charge tonight.

Writers, critics, editors and Lit Majors seem to have a language of their own.  From editing shorthand, style books, preferred formats and cocktail chit chat it helps to be familiar with what the other guy is saying.  When the woman in white  raises her wine glass and studies it seriously while commenting that a recent manuscript was another Bildungsroman story and totally overdone...you can do more than smile and nod if you have a passing familiarity with these cliquish terms.

Seriously, as a former Lit Major, I knew a few of these but not enough to fake my way through a party no matter how many glasses of wine the other guests drank.

So, lets spend an hour talking about words.  Visit the site and see how many you know and we'll have a pretend cocktail party of our own.

Join us tonight to discuss words for the first hour. We'll discuss any other questions you may have in the second hour.

If I Should Die by Sally Franklin Christie

Murder, Embezzlement, Betrayal and Silence: If I Should Die is a suspenseful journey into the lives of many people.  The choices and impacts are repulsive and inspiring.  Silence will never sound the same.
