Always wondered how to pitch a book? Curious how anyone can convince a publisher to consider their book in as little as two minutes?  Karina Fabian, a TWC regular, will lead the chat on pitch basics.  Karina comes fresh from the Catholic Writers Conference Online, where 18 authors successfully pitched their books to traditional publishers from Our Sunday Visitor to MuseItUp Books.  She'll share the ideas that helped these authors succeed and share some stories.  She has three years' experience leading pitches and has herself pitched at pitch sessions online and in person--and even on the fly.

Karina will give a quick lecture, but she also found these useful sites:  How To Pitch Your Book at a Conference ( http://www.writing-world.com/publish/pitch2.shtml ) and How to Pitch Your Book (http://www.sellingbooks.com/how-to-pitch-your-book )

Join us tonight to learn how to pitch a book. We'll discuss any other questions you may have in the second hour.

Top Suspense has just published an e-book anthology, and they'd be happy to give free copies (Kindle, epub or PDF) to any member of the Writer's Chatroom, with the following catch: they have to agree to review the book somewhere--a blog, facebook, kindleboards, amazon, all of the above, but someplace. Good, bad, indifferent, they don't care as long as it's an honest review.

So if you'd like to read and review, contact Dave Zeltserman at dave.zeltserman@gmail.com and let him know which format you want. Be sure to identify yourself as a TWC member!
