The topic of outlining comes up regularly during chats. Probably brought up by me, but who's looking?

When the word 'outlining' appears in the chat feed it is nearly always followed by a collective chatroom groan from those who abhor a vacuum...I mean, a plan.

I understand the Junior High or High School baggage that comes with outlining, and the frequent reminders that outlining can stifle creativity or cause a writer to lose interest in writing a story if she knows the ending...

It doesn't have to be that way..

Join us tonight as I try to convince you that there are ways to use an 'outline' that are flexible.  And, in the unwritten tradition of our Topic Chats, I found a post that lists a finite number of steps.
