The Writer's Chatroom Topic Chat: Aristotle's Incline

(Sally Franklin Christie is in charge tonight)
Most stories
and movies are formatted into what's called a 3 Act format.
I discovered
this incline in my time-tattered book "The Weekend Novelist" by Robert
J Ray. The edition I have of this book is out of print.
When I wrote "Milk Carton People", I used this incline to map out my key scenes.
When I hear
writers ask how to avoid the sagging middle, or they are lost and don't know how
to finish their projects, I recommend the Incline. There are six key scenes you
can write that serve as a road map for your novel.
Come to chat
and we can talk about it. We'll take any other question you may have in the second hour.
