Special Announcement

Audrey Shaffer has been working nonstop at The Writer’s Chatroom for 12 years.  That is longer than most marriages.  She has kept the place running at the website, blog and newsletter and she has done this without compensation.  We are thankful for the many things Audrey has done for us. 

Audrey decided to retire for personal reasons and rather than let the Chatroom go the way of lost electrons, I volunteered to keep the place going. 

I do not have Audrey’s years of experience but I’ll be doing my best.  She is hanging around to give me a hand as I make changes to the  website, update, schedule topics and guests and to the myriad of things a Chatroom Moderator does..

This transition may be a bit bumpy at first and I hope you will stay with us. 
 

Topic Chat - Marketing

I would like to give one Sunday Chat each month to the topic of marketing.  

I would like to break it down into sub-topics including use of Social Media, Websites, Release Day Events, how to market your book, writing an announcement press release and more.  This topic is not just for published writers or novelists, it is for everyone at all stages of writing.  I hope you'll come to chat on Sunday at 5PM MDT, 8PM EDT and help me build a list of potential topics. Guest Chats will continue and Audrey isn't going to be far from our reach.  Our other Moderators are also going to be leading chats.

Wednesday Chats will continue much as they are now.
