Pro-Blog or Anti-Blog? Do Writers Need Them?

Recently I posted a series of surveys and I was interested to see that only one in four writers has a blog.

Should we blog or should we keep our words to ourselves and maybe let social media do our heavy lifting?

This topic has two links, I will cover them both during the chat.  Be prepared to share your ideas pro-blog or anti-blog.

"It’s Time for (Many) Experienced Writers to Stop Blogging" https://janefriedman.com/its-time-for-many-experienced-writers-to-stop-blogging/  “Blogging is a waste of time.”

and

"2 Strategic and Compelling Reasons to Keep Blogging—Plus When to Kill a Blog"

https://janefriedman.com/reasons-to-keep-blogging/ "If you remember, Barkat advised writers to stop blogging. For the other side of the story, I’ve asked Dan to offer reasons to keep blogging."

If there is time after the topic workshop, we will open the room for any questions you may have.
